Description: [[File:Henry Howard Baker.jpg|left|thumb|Henry Howard Baker c1915]] Henry Howard Baker, was born in Gawler in 1884, son of William Henry Baker and Emma Selina nee Pinson, and brother of [[Baker Hilda Maud|Hilda Maud Baker]]. He was educated at Gawler Public School and Gawler South Grammar School, and worked as a fitter. He enlisted in the AIF 12 Aug 1915 in Adelaide (Service No. 8567) and served with the 6th Field Unit as a Wheeler Sergeant. Henry was killed in action in Belgium. He is buried at Ypres (Ieper), Arrondissement Ieper, West Flanders (West-Vlaanderen), 'The Huts Cemetery' Belgium, 14 B 6. Henry Baker is also memorialised at the: Adelaide National War Memorial, Australian War Memorial, Gawler WWI Roll of Honour and on a commemorative paver in the Remembrance Garden in Pioneer Park (see [[ANZACs and other WWI Personnel]]).
