Description: Son of George Rowe Blatchford & Sylvia Ethel Pearl nee Argent. On leaving school, worked at Post Office, Mallala & Gawler. Enlisted WW2 – RAN – 3 May 1943 – 27 June 1946. Married Sylvia Eileen Kluge at the Methodist Church, Pirie Street, Adelaide, 12 February 1949 Took up farming at Mallala. Gained licence for a dairy at Virginia. Active member of the Mallala RSL. Died 16 November 1998 – Lyell McEwin Hospital, Elizabeth Vale Cremated Gawler – Ashes Interred at Centennial Park Cemetery The fields below can each contain multiple values.
