Description: Pastor at the Zion and Immanuel Lutheran Churches Gawler - 1978 – 1985. Pastor Goldhardt was called to the Gawler Lutheran Parish as an associate pastor to work with Pastor Sander in both the Zion and Immanuel congregations, replacing the retired Pastor Eckermann. American by birth and missionary in New Guinea, Pastor Goldhardt came to Gawler in 1978. He had a specific role to expand the parish into the Munno Para area where he undertook much work. Unfortunately, the population did not grow as expected and with the retirement of Pastor Goldhardt in 1985, that project was closed, with worshipping members transferring to Elizabeth or Gawler.
