. The "Road Train at Gawler is the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Trackless train. This was a Cinema / Charity fundraising promotion by MGM and the trackless train toured the world promoting MGM films and raising charity funds. In the late 1920s visited all the Australian mainland states.
