Gawler's Industrial Buildings 1839-1939 (published in 1980) was the joint research project undertaken by Susan Phillips and Michael Pilkington for their Honours Degrees in the Department of Architecture at the University of Adelaide.

It is reproduced here with the kind permission of the authors and the University of Adelaide.
